Marina Batog, M.A. works in urban development and regeneration, having co-founded MKBT: Make Better, an interdisciplinary team addressing pressing challenges of towns in Romania and other countries of the post-socialist space. She’s committed to long term work in Țara Făgărașului, pursuing the areas of interest described on the www.incredereinfagaras.ro platform. Besides her engagement at MKBT, she serves as individual consultant for international organizations such as the World Bank, UNDP and Council of Europe and is a board member of the Buzău Community Foundation. Her academic profile is in urban economy, planning and local economic development, having a postgraduate degree in this field from London School of Economics and Political Science.
