The Făgăraș Summer School brings together people passionate about various research & action topics. The Summer School is designed to create a space for interdisciplinary interactions and facilitate collaboration among researchers, practitioners, students, and members of the local community.

In 2024, we will hold the sixth edition of the Făgăraș Summer School. This year, we continue with hybrid, online, and in-person learning experiences. Therefore, the Summer School will consist of a series of webinars and on-site courses.

Attending the Summer School 2024 is free of charge for online participation.

For attending the UQTR-FRI Summer School the participation fee is 300 CAD.

The fee for attending the courses in person between August 3 and 12 is 1000 RON. This fee covers instruction, part of the meals, and local transport when necessary to travel outside Făgăraș. Participants are responsible for their accommodation, meals, transportation to Făgăraș, medical insurance, and other costs. FRI can waive fees for those who apply and motivate such a request.
