Mihaela Cibian is Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics at l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and a researcher at the Hydrogen Research Institute (HRI). Her field of interest is artificial photosynthesis with focus on solar fuels. Mihaela obtained her PhD in Chemistry (Inorganic/ Coordination Chemistry) from Université de Montréal (2016). She continued her research career as a FRQNT (Le Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies) postdoctoral fellow at Kyushu University in Japan (2017-2019), working on projects related to photocatalytic systems for carbon dioxide reduction and hydrogen production.
