Mgr. Monique Lima Leite is a researcher and independent consultant focused on spirituality and development, postdevelopment studies and community development. She has a master’s degree in international development studies from Palacký University, Czech Republic, postgraduate in Executive Management Communication at Universidad Diego Portales, in Chile, and BA in Social Communication at Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, in Brazil. She started her career in the business world, where she worked with environmental and social conflict management and community development at the biggest mining company in Latin America. She was one of the responsible team members for the relationship with more than 60 communities across Brazil, including indigenous and other traditional communities, besides consultation to the operations in Argentina, Peru, and Canada. Monique is a multicultural professional, she lived and studied in several countries, including the Czech Republic, Chile, New Zealand, Romania, Brazil, and has experiences in local communities in Bolivia and Cuba. Her knowledge and experiences include: Hatha Yoga instructor, guest speaker in several subjects, high skilled in making her 8 months daughter laugh.
