Matei Podea graduated from the University of Bucharest, finishing studies in Political Science in English, with a bachelor’s thesis studying far-right movements in Georgia. He is currently enrolled in a master’s program in International Public Affairs at the University of Bucharest, with a keen interest in both socio-economic and political topics. Matei is working as an ESG analyst, with an emphasis on Corporate Governance, a job which has opened his interest towards sustainability in both the private and public sectors. As for him personally, Matei strives to be as curious as possible in relation not only to his own interests, but also expanding his knowledge upon other subjects – always looking at the problem from an analytical perspective. This has proven to be a great approach in his work so far, both as an analyst and student. Arts and culture also play a very important role in his daily life, as he believes that there should be a balance between work and personal hobbies.
