Ruxandra Pop Ph.D.

Research Fellow

Rucsandra Pop studied literature, cultural anthropology and sociology and she sees these fields as continuously interacting. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest, writing the intellectual biography of the Romanian folklorist and anthropologist Mihai Pop. Both as a scholar and as an artist, Rucsandra uses interdisciplinary approaches. In her academic endeavors, she is exploring her research topics with the help of artistic tools. Rucsandra works at ARC Romania, in the National Development Community Foundation Program. Working closely with 19 community foundations around the country, she is passionate about communities and interested in the mechanisms that generate trust and make the communities more resilient.
