The Făgăraș Summer School brings together people who are passionate about various research and action topics. The Summer School is designed to create a space for interdisciplinary interactions, in order to facilitate collaboration among researchers, practitioners, students, and people from the local community.

In 2023 we are going to have the forth edition of the Făgăraș Summer School. This year we continue with hybrid, online, and in-person learning experiences. Therefore, the Summer School will consist of a series of webinars and on-site courses.

We present below this year’s list of learning experiences and we invite you to register here. The courses will take place in throughout June-September 2023.

Attending the Summer School 2023 is free of charge for online participation. 

For attending the courses between August 14-29 in person, the fee is 1000 RON. This fee covers instruction, a part of the meals, and local transport when necessary to travel outside Făgăraș. Participants are responsible for their accommodation, meals, transportation to Făgăraș, medical insurance (where applicable), and other costs. FRI can offer a fee waiver for those who apply and motivate such a request. 

For attending the Module on Research Methods for Civil Society and Government Practitioners, the fee is 700 RON until July 28, 2023 and 1000 starting July 29, 2023.
