Together with our partners, we are working on the concept of a co-creative cloud for rural spaces standing for an open and resilient society. The project host is the Stechlin-Institut, situated 80km north of Berlin.
Under the umbrella of the Bosch Alumni Network, we would like to start the database of RuralMindshift in order to offer an informative instrument for the exchange of the many perspectives of like-minded initiatives in rural contexts, aiming towards a network of Zukunftskünstler*innen (Uwe Schneidewind, Wuppertal Institut), “artists at the future,” who have dedicated their own life plan to a sustainable “rural renaissance.” RuralMindshift aims to connect such initiatives in the rural sphere by developing a decentralized database that gathers and shares current practical knowledge, both as a guide for projects yet to come and as a mutual support system for existing places where the needed transformations have already taken seed.
