The Stechlin-Institut is a resonance chamber for informed and enlightened people who are conscious of the political, social, and ecological transformations of society to come and for those who create artistically eco-sufficient and resilient environments.
On the 18th of November 2020, Romy and Stef Richter, initiators of the Stechlin-Institut, introduced us to the Institute’s story.
The project “Community spaces and their role during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond” consists of a series of online meetings aimed at bringing together such initiatives. The online meetings provided the space for sharing insights about the COVID-19 experience and for exploring together options for addressing challenges, envisioning potential contributions to make during the pandemic and modes of operation in a post-pandemic context affected by a significant economic crisis.
The project is financed by the International Alumni Center Berlin.
