On the 19th of December, we concluded the series of presentations as part of the project “Community spaces and their role during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.” Three community spaces presented the way they work in these pandemic times – Effendi Villa from Georgia, Mineralito from Mexico, and @HomeinFagaras from Romania.
The series of presentations enabled the group to discuss about various challenges faced by community spaces and to talk about how each one of them is coping with the COVID-19 period.
The project “Community spaces and their role during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond” consists of a series of online meetings aimed at bringing together such initiatives. The online meetings provided the space for sharing insights about the COVID-19 experience and for exploring together options for addressing challenges, envisioning potential contributions to make during the pandemic and modes of operation in a post-pandemic context affected by a significant economic crisis.
The project is financed by the International Alumni Center Berlin.
