Global Diplomacy Lab at Făgăraș: Global Leadership and the SDGs: What Role for Local Communities?

The Global Diplomacy Lab @ Făgăraș focuses on the involvement and potential of small urban communities and rural areas in addressing the SDGs and the various current global challenges.

GDL@Fagaras is focusing on four tracks in collaboration with the following challenge holders:

Track 1: The SDGs, international relations & Făgăraș, with the Făgăraș Municipality.

Track 2: The SDGs & community foundations, with Odorhei Community Foundation and Țara Făgărașului Community Foundation.

Track 3: Diaspora and Diplomacy, with the Romanian Presidency.

Track 4: Social Entrepreneurship and Diplomacy, with Ashoka Romania.

The Lab includes an online component taking place in February-April 2022 and an in-person meeting, scheduled for May 2022.

Duration: 2020-2022.
