The first edition of the Făgăraș Summer School was launched on June 24 in Făgăraș. The Summer School started with two courses in philosophy held by Prof. Octavian Gabor, Ph.D. from Methodist College in the US and Research Fellow at FRI.

The event brought together students from the community and members of the FRI network who are passionate by philosophy, literature and history. The Summer School is designed to create an interdisciplinary learning space in order to facilitate collaboration among researchers, practitioners, students and people from the local community. The second part of the Summer School will take place in August 5-14, 2019.
