AirGo: How to limit the impact of a sedentary work life on our health

This webinar invites you to explore the field of Ergonomics. You will learn about how our body works, what it needs to stay fit, how we could adapt the work space to cater for the needs of our body, and how to build a strategy for protecting our health.

At the end of the webinar, you will know how sedentarism in workplaces affects your life quality on the short, medium, and long-term. You will know how to keep fit and to organize your workspace and daily program to reduce to a minimum the risks we are exposed to at work. Also, you will know how to make your work and life habits healthier.

In other words, you will find out why sitting on a chair has negative effects on our health, how to reduce such negative impact, how to organize our day so that we do not get back pain at the end of the day and which is the plan that can ensure that we maintain our vitality as we age. 


Dana Odae

Dana Odae graduated in Physiotherapy in Bucharest, in 2004. She started her career at the National Institute for Medical Expertise and Work Capacity Recovery. Confronted with severe consequences of cases of easily avoidable work accidents, Dana developed a key interest in prevention. In the most recent part of her career Dana focused on developing and implementing medical education programs for the prophylaxis of work pathologies for employees of multinational companies. The wish to specialize further in her field, led Dana to Brussels in 2017 where she attended an inter-university master in Ergonomics and where she developed an educational program this webinar is a part of.
